When the thing finally gets finished
A founder who went through the work described finishing something, which sounds like nothing until you hear how rare it had been. "I think that the biggest thing that I felt was the satisfaction and the feeling proud that I got it done in the second version that I don't usually get... usually I haven't been finishing what I wanted to start... and in the second story I actually finished it and how good that felt. That really surprised me."
Notice the surprise. This is a capable person, surprised that they finished.

The external motivation was scaffolding. Useful for a while, and then beside the point. Once the thing was actually theirs, the trainer became unnecessary, and the behavior held on its own. The industry sells you the trainer and calls the trainer the solution. The trainer was never the solution. The trainer was the thing you needed until the goal became yours.
The part the seminar circuit skips
